Program Note:

Inspired by the Tetons and the tiny, fuzzy, six-legged creatures that live in their midst, Seeing in Another Spectrum was a collaborative piece with artist, Jan Arabas. While many artists focus on the majesty of the Grand (Teton), Jan and I wanted to focus more on the unseen. In our discussions and musings, going back and forth about how visual art, music, and bees in the Tetons all relate to each other, we learned that bees can see ultraviolet light, which is something that humans can only imagine…
